Modern devices are not just phones that are used for calls, they are modern communication devices which keep a lot of personal data. The experts’ job is to analyze this information and the purpose of this presentation is to share knowledge on how to find and identify it.
The technology of mobile devices changes frequently. It is important that your forensic tools stay up to date and highlight those changes. In this presentation find out what information mobile devices can hide about the device owner and what data can be easily skipped from the eyesight. Learn to reveal suspect’s or victim’s way of life with timelines, communications and locations at a certain period of time. Investigators can track user location at every moment, build and map their historic routes, and clearly see all activities performed by the user at each location. Learn how investigators can discover social connections between the users of multiple mobile devices and produce charts and tables revealing the users’ closest circle at a glance.

With an IT background of over 15 years, Anna has been conducting forensic investigations for the past 5 years for attorneys, public and private entities and financial institutions. Some of the certifications that she holds are: CyberSecurity Forensic Analyst (CSFA), Certified Ethical Hacker (C|EH), Certified Hacking Forensic Investigator (C|HFI), AccessData Certified Examiner (ACE), etc.
Anna is currently the 1st VP of the WA State High Tech Crime Investigation Association, and was the Secretary for the past 3 years. She continues to stay current in technology advancements through education, training and professional association memberships. She is currently persuing a Masters’ of Science Degree in Cyber Security.
